The last few weeks of high school are a mixture of fun events and important responsibilities. To ensure a smooth-sailing commencement night, use this list to help you stay on top of important information and dates leading up to YOUR BIG NIGHT!

Please call Jostens at 1-800-JOSTENS to place an order.
A representative from Jostens will be here on Friday, April 13, to collect cap & gown payments during all lunches (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) in the cafeteria. Jostens can accept a check payable to Jostens, cash, or credit on this day. You may also call Jostens directly at 1-800-JOSTENS and press option #1 for Graduation Items, and press option #1 to make a payment.

Important Dates for Seniors

May 1
Last day to pay fines/fees or your name is added to “THE LIST.” Fines/fees are to be paid with cash or money order made payable to Armstrong High School.

May 2
Teachers of seniors report student progress and “THE LIST” of possible non-graduating seniors is compiled and posted.

May 18
Graduation caps/gowns/tassels/stoles, etc., may be picked up during lunch (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) in the auditorium foyer by students who are academically eligible and do not owe fines or have other obligations. The Graduation Dress and Behavior Expectations Contract, included with this mailing, must be turned in at this time.

May 23
Graduation caps/gowns/tassels/stoles may be picked up during lunch (10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) for those seniors who are academically eligible and do not owe fines or have other obligations. Turn in your Graduation Dress and Behavior Expectations Contract if you have not done so.

June 1
Call John Cook at 763-504- 8804 for special accommodations (parking, sign language interpreter)

June 4
Make-up day for seniors who must complete missing work or tests.

June 7
Senior Breakfast at 8 a.m. in the Cafeteria. This is a free event and all seniors are invited.

June 7
Graduation rehearsal - Attendance is mandatory. Be in your ready room by 8:45 a.m.

Graduation ceremony - Be in your “Ready Room” by 6 p.m. Ceremony begins at 7 p.m. Senior Party after Commencement

June 11 – June 14
Cap/Gown/Tassel Refunds* 8 a.m. to Noon – Bookkeeper
*Items must have been turned in to ready room advisor on June 7.
