School supply lists are posted on most school web sites. If you would like a paper copy, please stop in your school office to pick one up or call to have one mailed to you.
Q: What are the vacation dates for the 2012-2013 school year?

Q: How can I find out what elementary/middle/high school my child will attend?
A: Check out our "School Finder" feature on our website, located here. Follow the directions to determine your attendance area for elementary, middle and high school. We have two elementary magnet schools which have no attendance area: those are Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion School (RSIS) and the School of Engineering and Arts (SEA).
Q: My child will be attending kindergarten in the fall of 2013. How do I register my child for kindergarten?
A: Please visit the school your child will attend to pick up a 2013-14 Kindergarten Registration brochure. To find out what school your child will attend, click here.
Q: How can I find out what bus route my child will take to school, and the location of the nearest bus stop?
A: Call the district transportation office at 763-504-8107 and give them your street address. They will tell you your child's bus route and nearest bus stop.
Q: Does the Robbinsdale Area School District offer full-day kindergarten?
A: Yes, we offer full-day kindergarten. Most of our kindergarten students will be enrolled in free half‐day classes next fall. However, there will be one or two sections of full day, everyday kindergarten offered at each elementary school. The full day options are listed below.
Tuition-Free Full-Day Kindergarten
Forest, Lakeview, Meadow Lake, Noble and Northport Schools:
Parents should indicate on the K-5 Registration Form if they are interested in full day kindergarten for their child.
Kindergarten Choice (Fee-based)
Neill, RSIS, School of Engineering and Arts (SEA), Sonnesyn and Zachary Lane Schools:
One or two classes of Kindergarten Choice, a full day, fee-based program option. Students remain with their certified kindergarten teachers for the entire day. District residents have priority over non-resident students.
The cost for Kindergarten Choice for 2012-2013 is over $3,500. A limited number of free/reduced tuition spaces are available to families based on financial need.
Q: I need an official transcript of my grades while I was in school in the district. Who should I call?

Q: Where can I find information about Fine Arts Interdisciplinary Resource (FAIR) Schools in Crystal and downtown Minneapolis?
A: FAIR and IDDS are not Robbinsdale Area School District schools. They are operated by the West Metro Education Program (WMEP), of which our district is a member. For more information about FAIR School Crystal, call 763-971-4500 or visit their site. For more information about Fair School Downtown, call 612-752-7100 or visit their site.
Q: How can I find out about class reunion dates for graduates of Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, Robbinsdale Cooper High School or Robbinsdale High School?
A: Each high school maintains a listing of reunion dates and can be found at: Robbinsdale Armstrong Alumni Page/ Robbinsdale Cooper Alumni Page / Robbinsdale High School. Many reunion committees are relying on Facebook to get the word out, too. Check with alumni pages on Facebook for more information as well.
Q: Where can I find old yearbooks, photographs and other artifacts from the Robbinsdale Area Schools?
A: Volunteers staff the Robbinsdale Area School District Archives on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. You may call the Archives at 763-504-4935 and leave a message indicating the date and time of your call, your name and phone number and a description of the items you are seeking. Messages are checked frequently.
