Technical Notes and Questions:
Q. The map is too small for me to view when I look at it.
A. You may be using Internet Explorer 6.0 which has a auto-image reducing feature that will force images larger than your screen resolution to shrink. After you open the image, hover your mouse over the image and look at the lower-right corner. Click on the expand box that displays.
Q. How can I print the map, it doesn't fit on an 8 x 11 piece of paper.
A. Correct, in order to keep the image viewable on your computer, it needs to be larger than 8 x 11. However, you can download the image to disk and then print it. Right-click (CTRL-Click for Macintosh users) on the link and select save target as (Macintosh users select save to disk). Then open the image. On Windows XP, this will open the image in Windows Preview and select print and follow the wizard (selecting the defaults will print normal). For Macintosh users, double clicking the image will open the application in Preview. Simply select File | Print.
Paper copies of the district attendance area maps are available at each school and the Education Service Center. Request that a copy be mailed to you by calling 763-504-8000, or send us an e-mail.
