Welcome to the Office of the Superintendent. The superintendent is the chief executive officer of the school district and is responsible for the management of the schools and the conduct and quality of the district’s educational programs and support systems.It is also the superintendent’s responsibility to recommend policies to the board and when adopted by the board, implement, interpret and execute them. The position provides leadership and counsel to the school board in the development of the district’s mission and goals and provides professional support and advice to the school board on all matters considered by the board.
The superintendent has direct supervisory responsibilities for the executive director of Business Services, executive director of Community Education, executive director of Educational Services, executive director of Human Resources, executive director of Teaching and Learning, executive director of Technology, Integration, Equity and Indian Education Program Director, Marketing and Communications Program Director and the Executive Assistant to the superintendent.
