Accountability - Academics
District strengths
Academic excellence. Students who are in Robbinsdale Area Schools for several years achieve more than a year's growth in a year's time.
Rigorous academic options. A high percentage of our students take advantage of college-level International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) opportunities, which is why both Robbinsdale Armstrong and Robbinsdale Cooper high schools are among Newsweek magazine's top 1500 high schools in the nation.
Students are learning at a greater than average rate. Third through 5th grade Robbinsdale district students show better than average growth
(average is 50%) according to standardized test results, despite our school district's higher poverty, minority and mobility rates compared to the state.
